The competition closed on the 30th April 2012 and we now have our UK 'Energy Saver of the Year' - the household that both made the greatest energy savings and really made an effort to live a low-carbon lifestyle.

The online toolkit (ESA), however, is still available to anyone who wishes to monitor their household energy consumption against that of previous years.

In addition, this website contains lots of information on how to save energy in the home ranging from installing insulation or photovoltaic panels to no-cost behavioural change tips and tricks that will help bring that energy consumption down.
